Title of the study: "The education of children on positive discipline. Highlights and current practice in Europe."

Methodology: The research based on the application and analysis of the questionnaires

Target group: parents

The main objective of this research is to identify the forms of discipline used by parents and their attitudes towards physical punishment (slapping, beating).

Structure of the questionnaire:

  • Section I: profile of the respondent (age, education, residence, employment status)
  • Section II: two closed questions on respondents' family profile (type of family wealth of the family);

Section III: 6 closed questions that can provide an overview of disciplinary techniques used by parents. A question refers to the techniques used by the respondent’s parents to identify certain similarities or changes (because some parents simply automatically apply the rules which were applied by their own parents and grandparents).
